My flat colour refinish includes a full, multi‑stage process designed to achieve a smooth, durable, and visually striking finish:

• Surface Preparation — sanding, grain filling and correcting imperfections
• Priming — high‑quality primer for optimal colour adhesion
• Colour Coats — solid flat colour of your choice
• Clear Coats — protective gloss layers for depth and durability
• Buffing & Shine — polished to a smooth, reflective finish

You can choose the option that suits your project:

• Customer‑Provided Body: Plain wood or with paint (when old paint or finish needs to be removed – a small stripping fee may apply.
• Body Sourced for You I can source a suitable guitar body on your behalf, ready for the refinishing process.

Poly or Nitro finish available.

Work time scales (from the moment of receiving body):

8 - 12 weeks for Poly finishes,

12-20 weeks for Nitro finishes (due to longer curing process of Nitro it might take longer - depending on layers of paint and coat being applied).
